Vivant employs personal assistants

London-based luxury home care service Vivant has employed eight experienced personal assistants, who, between them, have wide-ranging experiences and backgrounds. The new arrivals include a former English teacher, a science PhD, a yoga teacher, a musician, a paramedic, as well as nurses.

Vivant launched in January, aiming to enable its clients to continue living at home. The company’s offering includes an exclusive concierge service, personalised, tailored care support, and companionship.

Vivant’s founder and chief executive Louise Blezzard said: “We’ve managed to recruit some wonderful individuals who have a depth of experience that isn’t unique to care. With our clients able to choose their own care teams and with a big emphasis on companionship, having a broad mix of life experiences to tap into really helps to personalise and elevate the care we offer.

“We’re delighted to have recruited such a diverse group and they really are a fantastic bunch. We’ve had a thoroughly enjoyable onboarding period and I’m looking forward to seeing them interact and bond with our clients as we move forward.”

Kelly Morris, director of care operations added: “We want to ensure the people who join Vivant fully understand what we’re trying to achieve. Our client base is unique and so is our approach to care – so we look to reflect that in our training. Doing things differently, while full of enthusiasm, is what we’re about, and our new starters embody that.”
