Newark-based supported living provider, Eden Futures, has appointed Tim Coe as group financial controller to support business growth.

Coe’s appointment follows the recent recruitment of Chris Rogers as director of service development.

Coe qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant 10 years ago in a small accountancy practice. After deciding to move into industry, he joined a group in the financial services sector and quickly worked his way up through different roles within the finance team, resulting in a promotion to head of finance. Coe helped oversee the successful sale of that group in late 2022 and went in search of a new challenge, where Eden Futures’ visions and values particularly resonated.

Rogers is a qualified social worker and has worked in the social care sector for over 11 years. He has a wealth of experience gained through working in the public, voluntary, private sectors as well as some time out running his own business in the creative industry. This experience has included work in two other national care companies where he helped grow their supported living offering by developing new services across England. Rogers joined Eden Futures in 2022 as business development manager prior to being promoted to service development director in early 2023.

Coe said: “Eden Futures is a respected name in the health and social care sector, and I’m delighted to be here. I’m proud to work for a company that supports people and makes a demonstrable positive impact to their lives.”

Rogers added: “I’m excited to be promoted to director of service development. My team works hard to identify areas of growth and develop new properties suitable for supporting service users with a range of needs. Our growth is achieved through working in partnership with our key stakeholders to create sustainable, person-centred support.”

Chief executive, Helen Stokes, said: “Tim and Chris are both great additions to our team and their wealth of experience are great assets to our business and enhance our wider relationships with our stakeholders. Both appointments demonstrate the importance we place on recruiting the best people across all our operations.”
