Apprenticeship and training provider Paragon Skills has trained over 7,000 apprentices including 3,000 in care during the past 12 months.

While almost half of the apprentices supported by Paragon are in care, the training provider also serves the education, automotive, hair and beauty, and accountancy sectors.

In its 2023 impact report, Paragon Skills reported a 70% pass rate in its higher management frameworks and a 99% EPA pass rate with 65% achieving a merit of distinction.

Sarah Arnesen, marketing director at Paragon Skills, said: “Our quality-first approach and tailored delivery ensure that our pledge to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to every learner, every time is realised. We work with over 1,500 employers and many of these are long-standing partnerships that we have worked with for a number of years.

“This has been an important year of growth for Paragon Skills and we want to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful colleagues, employer partners, and apprentices who have made it possible for us to educate, develop and enhance the skills, knowledge, and behaviours within our chosen sectors of care and education.”

Arnesen added: “An apprenticeship is not just about academic development but helps to give our learners lifelong skills that will help in both their personal and work life. 95% of our learners have found this to be true as they have developed new skills off the back of their programme.”
