Joint venture secures funding for two care home

Morrison Community Care Reilly Ventures (MCCRV) has secured £48 million in development funding for two new care homes in Enfield and Epping Forest, London.
MCCRV is a joint venture between Morrison Community Care Group and Reilly Ventures.
Peer-to-peer lending platform easyMoney provided the facility, which is the company’s first step into the care home sector.
Together, the projects will deliver 215 care beds in two affluent suburban areas. Each scheme will comprise 100% wetroom en suite accommodation and include a range of amenities such as a hair salon, cinema and restaurant. Both sites will have significant landscaped outdoor space.
Construction is scheduled to commence across both sites in the autumn. Practical completion is expected in Q3 2027.
Paul Sokhi, managing director of Morrison Community Care Group, commented: “As one of the UK’s leading care providers and developers, we are thrilled to have acquired these prominent sites. Our mission is to deliver the highest standards of care and accommodation, and these projects will be a great asset to the communities of Enfield and Epping. Not only will they support an ageing population, but they will also create over 300 local jobs.”
“With many NHS beds currently occupied by patients who no longer require acute care, our innovative partnership with Reilly Ventures will help alleviate this pressure. This marks our third project in London and will bring our total delivery in the area to 296 high-quality care beds.”
Leo Reilly of Reilly Ventures added: “Our construction expertise, combined with Morrison’s care sector experience, enables us to create care homes that are both luxurious and functional. The Enfield and Epping developments represent a significant step in our mission to deliver transformative, community-focused care environments across the UK.”
easyMoney’s chief executive Jason Ferrando said: “It is more important than ever that we address the chronic undersupply of quality care beds across the UK and ease pressure on the NHS. We’re proud to be supporting MCCRV in delivering much-needed facilities in London. Having seen Morrison Community Care Group’s track record in Scotland, we have every confidence in their ability to deliver exceptional care environments. We look forward to growing this partnership further.”
