Ideal Carehomes celebrates Good rating for West Yorkshire care home
Ideal Carehomes’ Ashworth Grange care home in Dewsbury has been rated Good by the CQC.
The care home was rated Good for the Safe and Well-led key lines of enquiry following an inspection. It is now rated Good in all key lines of enquiry.
Home manager Sharon Troy said: “I’m so proud of the team at Ashworth Grange, who put person-centred care at the heart of everything they do and contributed to this fantastic CQC report.”
Inspectors found Ashworth Grange had an “open and positive culture which was person centred and achieved good outcomes” for residents.
One resident commented: “I live life to the full. The staff are marvellous and kind.” Another added: “I have all I need here. The staff are very nice, and I can do what I want.”
Comments from relatives and loved ones included one person who said: “[Name] is very well looked after. The staff are very hard workers, they go above and beyond. I am so happy with the care [Name] is getting here.”
The CQC said staff members at Ashworth Grange said they felt “happy and supported in their roles”, and “spoke positively about the registered manager”.
One commented: “I love it here. I have high standards for my own work and so do [the staff at Ashworth Grange].”
