Reaction

Paul Newman, chief executive of Greensleeves Care, said: “Congratulations to my colleagues across our homes for contributing to our winning ratings, and particularly to our teams at Broadlands and Harleston House, who achieved a faultless 10/10. We accept this award as recognition of our continued investment in our residents’ quality of life and as an incentive to be a Top 20 Large Care Home Group for seven years running.”

James Tugendhat, HC-One’s chief executive Officer, said: “We are delighted to have 24 HC-One homes announced as winners of the carehome.co.uk Top 20 Awards, based on independent reviews by those using our services over the past year. To top it off, I am thrilled that HC-One has also been awarded the Top 20 Large Care Home Group Award for 2023.

“Being announced as winners of these well-respected awards is a testament to the dedication of colleagues across HC-One. They have truly gone above and beyond to provide the kindest care to residents living in our care homes. These accomplishments really support our mission to be the first-choice for families, our colleagues and commissioners in each of the communities we serve.”

Stacey Linn, managing director at Ideal Carehomes, said: “This is a huge achievement for our incredible teams, who are all so passionate about providing quality, person-centred care to our residents. What makes this award so special is that it is based on the feedback of people we look after and their families, and to win this award for the fourth year in a row is very special.

“Whilst our facilities are second to none, it is our people who work in them that really make our homes the wonderful, caring places we know them to be. These reviews and testimonials just support that statement entirely! I am very proud of everyone at Ideal Carehomes, with special congratulations to Rivendell View, Hepworth House, and Cadley Hill View.”

The annual carehome.co.uk awards recognise care home groups according to their ranking, which is based on impartial, independent reviews from care home residents, their families and friends.
