Gold Care Homes purchases Sonnet Care Homes

Gold Care Homes has acquired Sonnet Care Homes which comprises two homes in Bocking, Essex: St Mary’s Court and The New Deanery, co-located on a 6.5-acre gated estate.

St Mary’s Court offers specialist residential, dementia and nursing care, providing en suite accommodation for up to 90 residents with a diverse range of care needs.

Built around a Grade-II listed historic deanery, The New Deanery provides residential care for up to 93 residents and offers substantial communal areas, a bistro and a café.

Gold Care Homes now has 29 homes in its portfolio in the East of England.

Gold Care Homes’s chairman, Ravi Gidar said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome St Mary’s Court and The New Deanery to the Gold Care Homes family as we look to continue and work towards our expansion plans. Jaison Jacob, Gold Care Homes’s chief financial officer added: “London and East Anglia are strategic areas for our expansion plans and we look to bring high-quality care to these areas with another brand-new care home, currently under construction in the Essex area.”
