Family-run care provider Curaa has acquired Ashview Nursing Home in Widford, Hertfordshire, which provides support for up to 32 residents.

The vendor was Westgate Healthcare which has owned the home since its inception 25 years ago.

Curaa’s chief executive Haris Khan said: “Ashview is a wonderful home, with a dedicated and high-performing team. It has diligently served the community since 1997 and we are excited to build on that excellent reputation. With this fourth addition to our platform, we hope to continue Curaa’s growth across the South and Southwest of the UK.”

Curaa was advised by Hazlewoods, RWK Goodman and supported by Shawbrook Bank. Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale.

Curaa manages four homes across the South and Southwest of England and says it intends to continue expanding across the region over the coming years.
