Nadhim Zahawi, MP for Stratford upon Avon, chatted with staff and residents about his recent appearance in ITV drama Mr Bates vs the Post Office during a visit to Studley House care home.

Maria Willis, registered manager at the Macc Care home, gave Zahawi a tour, before introducing him to a number of residents.

“Here at Studley Rose, we are passionate about ensuring our residents remain connected and involved with their local community and visits from local public figures such as Nadhim are imperative to this,” said Willis. “We were incredibly proud to hear how impressed Nadhim and his colleague, Theresa, were with the home.”

Sister care home, Sutton Rose in Sutton Coldfield, recently welcomed record-breaking five-year-old author Jayce Joyce for a reading of his two published works.
