Care England to host energy webinar for care home providers

Care England, the leading representative body for small, medium and large providers in England, has is to hold a third webinar on energy costs this week.

The event on Thursday 6 October from 12-1pm is open to all providers, including non-Care England members.

The webinar, which is supported by Community Interest Company, Box Power, is designed to help care home providers understand the changing profile of energy procurement in light of recent government support announced for businesses.

Last month, Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg announced a discount on wholesale gas and electricity prices for all UK businesses, the voluntary sector, like charities, and the public sector, such as schools and hospitals, which is equivalent to the Energy Price Guarantee put in place for households.

Attendees to the Care England event will receive:

Professional energy procurement and timing advice

Regular market intelligence data and insight reports

Overview of the past, present and future wholesale market

And be able to interact and ask questions and understand current trends and latest guidance.
