The Outstanding Society is hosting a free virtual event to support care providers in hosting a student nurse placement.

The one-hour session, The Nurse Factor – Superstars of our Sector, takes place on Thursday 18 May at 1pm.

Speakers include Vida Healthcare registered nurses Phil Cartwright Hughes and Heather Connell, Karen Roberts, group head of health and clinical governance at Lifeways Group, and Caron Sanders-Crook, operations manager at Canford Healthcare. They are joined by Barbara Johnson, director of nursing at Risedale Care Homes and Lucy Brown, director of nursing and midwifery leadership development at the Florence Nightingale Foundation, as well as Maryna Godwin, student nurse, and Abbe Walton, fourth year Masters student at Vida Healthcare.
