Runwood Homes’ Four Acres care home is celebrating after achieving a 10 out of 10 score on ratings review website carehome.co.uk

The maximum rating was based on 43 reviews over the past two years which also saw the service score 4.8 out of 5 for overall experience.

Home manager, Tia Wozniak, said: “Here at Four Acres we continue to work together as one team to ensure our residents live every day to the fullest, placing them at the centre of everything we do. I could not be more proud of the team achieving a top score of 10/10 on carehome.co.uk. We are even more honoured to have had these reviews come from the residents and relatives themselves. Four Acres is a welcoming hive of activity and life, and this can only be achieved by the hard work and dedication from the team every single day.”

A relative of a resident at Four Acres, said: “Four Acres is proving to be invaluable to my mother having found it necessary to cease living and coping on her own. She simply adores the building, staff, the many rooms to enter and the oh-so-friendly staff. She is no longer lonely at 93 years of age.

“I have observed many aspects of Four Acres myself as her daughter and I have no complaints whatsoever in the five months my mother has been resident there. Without doubt, every single employee meets the residents and me in the corridors with a beaming natural smile and says hello or exchanges a few pleasantries. So many activities are arranged and many trips out either in the minibus or to local cafes etc within walking or wheelchair distance. I can now relax knowing my mother is being cared for and she would not be anywhere else.”
