Springcare purchases Worcestershire care home

SpringCare has acquired The Chace Care Home in Great Malvern, Worcestershire, a residential and dementia care home registered for up to 41 residents.

The business has been owned by Anthony Reeley and his family for more than 40 years.

SpringCare has an existing portfolio of 15 homes spread across the Midlands and North of England.

Reeley said: “After 40 years of family ownership and growing up there from a child, I decided it was time to move on. When I met SpringCare it was obvious they were the right fit and shared the same passion as myself for delivering the highest standards of care. I know they will elevate the home to the next level and continue to have the best reputation in the Worcestershire area.”

Lee Cox, director at SpringCare, commented: “We are delighted to have completed our purchase of The Chace Care Home and look forward to welcoming all the staff and residents to the SpringCare Group. SpringCare has owned care homes for over 23 years and Anthony can rest assured that we have the skills and knowledge to build on the strong reputation he has already built.”

Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale.

Paul Reilly, director, care at Christie & Co, said: “This sale illustrates that the demand we’re seeing for great quality businesses remains strong across Worcestershire and the West Midlands.”

The Chace Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
