Smart Care Homes acquires Plymouth care group
Smart Care Homes has acquired Mannamead Care, a group of four care homes and an independent living unit in Plymouth, Devon.
The group comprises Greenacres Care Centre and Greenacres Independent Living, Seymour Court, Thorn Park and Charlton House. Combined, they are registered for 156 residents in the category of residential dementia care and nursing.
The vendors are Phil and Tonya Gerry who established the group more than 20 years ago and are retiring.
Smart Care Homes operates residential care homes in Southeast England.

Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale.

Mannamead Care was sold for an undisclosed price.
