Sarah Hyman, chief operating officer of Nexus Media Group, publisher of Caring Times and HealthInvestor, has become a Championing Social Care Ambassador.

Championing Social Care is a volunteer-led group of leaders from across the social care sector focused on delivering positive stories and initiatives.

Sarah, who has spent the last years working in the health and social care sector, said: “I am in because…social care is underrepresented, underfunded and underappreciated, let’s change that.”

Jonathan Freeman, vice-chair of Championing Social Care and chief executive of the CareTech Foundation, said: “I am thrilled that Sarah will be joining our illustrious group of Ambassadors, helping to promote all that is so great about the social care sector!
