Pine Care Group buys Worcestershire care home

Pine Care Group

Pine Care Group has acquired Housman Court Care Home, which is set in enclosed landscaped gardens in the centre of Housman Park, a complex of 57 assisted housing units in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

Established in 1987, Housman Court is a purpose-built residential/dementia care home registered for 30 residents. The home, which was CQC rated Good in January 2019, was previously owned by a UK charity and was brought to market as it felt that the home needed a local operator to continue to drive the business forward.

Pine Care Group is an established local care provider which owns two other nursing homes in the West Midlands. The company said it plans to invest further in Housman Court Care Home.

Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale. Tamara Gee, associate director – healthcare at Christie & Co, said: “We continue to see strong interest in these types of homes, especially given there is still a shortage of new care homes coming to the market.”

Housman Court Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
