OSJCT and Hartford Care celebrate Top 20 Care Home awards

The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) and Hartford Care are celebrating after being named as top care home groups by carehome.co.uk.

Not-for-profit provider OSJCT was named a Top 20 Care Home Group in the Large Care Home Group category, while Basingstoke based Hartford Care was among the Top 20 Mid-Size Care Home Groups for the eighth consecutive year.

OSCJT’s Monkscroft Care Centre in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, was also named a Top 20 South West England care home with Gregory House in Grantham, Lincolnshire, a Top 20 East Midlands care home.

Dan Hayes, OSJCT chief executive, said: “We’re delighted to be recognised as a Top 20 care provider in the UK, based on recommendations and ratings from so many of our residents and their families. I’m incredibly proud of everyone at OSJCT – our care teams, office colleagues and volunteers – who all contribute to our mission to deliver loving care, and create safe, welcoming, and friendly homes for all those who have chosen to entrust their care to OSJCT.”

Kevin Shaw, chief executive of Hartford Care, said: “We are extremely pleased to be recognised as a Top 20 Care Home Group for the eighth year in a row. It’s no easy feat for a group of our size, it takes hard work and dedication, but most importantly providing consistent outstanding care to our residents. This award comes directly from our score on carehome.co.uk, which is comprised completely from user reviews. It is gratifying to see glowing appraisals from our residents and their families time and time again, and it makes me extremely proud to be one of the team at Hartford Care. Thank you and well done to all our employees, it wouldn’t be possible without them.”
