Online Q&A for Dementia Action Week

An expert panel will answer questions on all aspects of dementia, including diagnosis, treatment and care, in an online webinar hosted by Loveday & Co, on Tuesday 17th May at 7pm.

The event, which is open to everyone, is part of Dementia Action Week (17-22 May), a national awareness event from the Alzheimer’s Society, designed to take action to improve the lives of people affected by dementia, and those around them. The theme this year is diagnosis.

The panel of experts at Loveday’s dementia webinar include: Dr Julia Wood, a consultant in practice improvement and dementia care; Dr Tom MacLaren, a consultant psychiatrist at Cognitive Care, Specialist Mental Healthcare & Clinical Trials – Re:Cognition Health ; Gabriela Zackova, director of wellbeing and dementia at Loveday & Co; and Q&A chair Anna Dobbie, the editor of Caring Times.

During this live Q&A the public can ask any questions about dementia from the signs and symptoms, to the importance of an early diagnosis, care at home and specialist care setting options, what to consider and where to go for help.
