A North Wales home care agency in Flintshire is celebrating after being praised by inspectors.

Deeside Home Care, which cares for adults and older people with a range of support needs including those with physical disabilities, mental health conditions, dementia, learning disabilities and sensory impairment, was inspected on 22 March.

Agency director, Natalie Marshall, said: “We are delighted that our high-quality care has once again been recognised though this very positive inspection report. We always put our service users at the heart of everything we do and this report is evidence of that. We are proud of our fantastic team who are absolutely dedicated to their roles and want to make a difference to the lives of our service users and this report reflects this.”

The inspector recognised that the agency is well managed and that they have a team of well supported and well-trained carers. The agency was particularly praised for providing a service that genuinely cares, staff and managers being very competent in their role and for the level of training undertaken by staff.

Deeside Home Care currently employs a team of 16 staff from the local area but is looking to expand this year and is recruiting for experienced carers who have a genuine desire to help others so that they can meet the high demand for services in Flintshire.
