New start for Hull care business as owners retire

Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has announced the sale of Westfield Care Home in Willerby on the outskirts of Hull.

Westfield is a long-established ‘Good’ rated care home that provides care for up to 23 residents.

Originally acquired through Christie & Co in 2003, the home has been run for the last 21 years by Pete and Heather Donnelly who were looking to retire.

Following a confidential sales process with Jonathan Wickens at Christie & Co, it has been sold to IH and KF Limited, a new entrant to the care sector.

Pete and Heather Donnelley, former owners of Westfield Care Home, said: “We wish the new owners Mr and Mrs Haroon well and we know they will enjoy as we have, being in a very unique atmosphere created by the love and devotion of the families, managers and staff within a very caring home.”

Iffat Haroon, Owner of IH and KF Limited, said: “ aking on this role is both a privilege and a responsibility I take to heart. Westfield Care Home will continue to be a home where every resident feels a deep sense of belonging, where family members have peace of mind, and where our staff are supported and empowered to make a difference. I look forward to leading Westfield into a new era of compassionate and innovative care, always with the residents’ best interests at heart.”

Jonathan Wickens, director – care at Christie & Co, said: “It has been great working with Pete and Heather. They have been real contributors to the care sector over the last 20+ years and leave a great legacy at Westfield. We wish them all the best for a long, healthy, and happy retirement.”

Westfield Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
