New managers at Malsis Hall

Craig Chatburn and Sally-Anne Redhead

Sally-Anne Redhead has been appointed as registered manager at Malsis Hall with Craig Chatburn joining as the care home manager.

Malsis Hall in Glusburn, North Yorkshire, supports people with complex mental health conditions.

Redhead is a qualified nurse who has worked within the NHS for 41 years with experience of caring for people with mental health conditions, autism and learning difficulties. She also has management experience, having led various healthcare facilities over the past 20 years.

Redhead said: “As the new manager, my primary responsibility is to ensure that every individual receives the best treatment, care and support possible. This means building on the supportive and nurturing environment where each person’s needs are met with compassion and understanding. Malsis Hall’s commitment to holistic and person-centred care deeply resonated with me. I was drawn to their emphasis on fostering a sense of community and belonging for each and every individual.”

Chatburn has more than two decades’ experience as a nurse and manager in various care and healthcare settings.

Chatburn said “Malsis Hall’s unwavering dedication to delivering personalised care solutions for individuals with mental health issues motivated me to join the team. It’s emphasis on creating a supportive and therapeutic environment truly sets them apart. As the care home manager, my role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the care home element of the service, ensuring that the highest standards of care and support are consistently maintained. This includes fostering a culture of compassion and professionalism among the staff, as well as ensuring the health and wellbeing of each person.”
