New Bedfordshire care home opens
Macc Care has opened Leighton Rose, a new luxury care home for up to 71 residents in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, offering generously sized en suite accommodation and including a dedicated dementia care unit and two fully equipped ground floor rooms for bariatric care.
The home celebrated the opening by welcoming people from the local community to drop in over the last weekend of June and there was also a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Mayor of Leighton Buzzard and the local MP Andrew Seolus.
Home manager Clare Hedge said: “We want the residents at Leighton Rose to celebrate life every day and live the absolute best life they can. The home has been designed with this in mind, from comfortable communal areas for residents and their loved ones to enjoy, to the gardens, cinema room and even the individual private rooms.
“I’ve been a registered manager for care homes for 22 years. I love what I do and being able to make a difference in people’s lives, and I know this is something shared by my whole team here at Leighton Rose.”
The home is Macc Care’s 14th facility.
