Hartford Care to open luxury care home in Swindon
Hartford Care will open the doors to its Cotswolds Rise luxury care home in Swindon next month.
Cotswolds Rise, which offers residential, dementia and respite care across 66 en-suite bedrooms, will open to new residents on 30 October.
Ben Chance, group commissioning manager at Hartford Care, said: “We’re looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming new residents to Cotswolds Rise – our second care home in Wiltshire. There will be plenty to keep everyone entertained with a full activity programme and our communal spaces have been designed so that they can be enjoyed whether taking part in a large group activity or a smaller gathering, with plenty of quiet and calm spaces to suit all residents needs.”
Close to Swindon town centre’s amenities, the home has fully accessible and enclosed landscaped gardens with patio areas and sun terraces, perfect for hosting outdoor activities. There are several spacious lounges and dining rooms, a lifestyle kitchen, salon and a shop. Designed with sustainability in mind, Cotswolds Rise has significant renewable energy elements, including solar panels, heat pumps and battery storages systems.
Hartford Care’s head office is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Established in 2003, its current 18 care homes are in Bristol, Berkshire (Burnham and Maidenhead), Devon (Sidmouth), Dorset (Poole), Hampshire (Aldershot, Barton-on-Sea, Four Marks, Hythe, Portsmouth, Winchester and Woodlands), Isle of Wight (Bembridge, Ryde and Shanklin), Oxfordshire (Witney) and Wiltshire (Downton and Swindon).
