Three new trustees have been appointed to the board of Hallmark Care Homes Foundation to help with its work on ageing well and improving the quality of care. The charity funds research and innovation and works with partners to maximise its impact. 

Christine Whatford is a former headteacher and director of education and children’s services in London boroughs who is currently is a governor of Anglia Ruskin University.

Kirstie McMillan is a strategic technology transformation consultant with KPMG with personal and professional experience of care.

Steve Cockell has held senior roles with NatWest and RBS and now advises on lending and fundraising, alongside non-executive roles with commercial and charitable bodies.

Their experience in public, private and charity sector leadership will bring substantial knowledge and skills taking forward our important work to make Britain a better place to age well and improve care by supporting and developing the workforce.”
