Hallmark Care Homes’ Ty Enfys Care Home in Pentwyn has been rated Excellent in all categories following an inspection by Care Inspectorate Wales.

The glowing report praised the residential, nursing and dementia home on Marle Close for its “caring and inclusive culture” and said “care staff are devoted to enhancing the lives of the people they support”.

The inspection took place on 29June and said: “People receive support from consistent, well-trained care staff they know well. Care staff are extremely friendly and approach people with kindness and compassion.

“People and their families told us they are very happy with the service. There is a dedicated and enthusiastic lifestyle team who ensure that people’s needs regarding social interaction and engagement in the things they enjoy are prioritised.”

General manager, Sujjata Singh, said: “I am incredibly proud that the home has received this excellent report.

“Behind every success is hard work and passion and my team are so dedicated, enthusiastic and courageous to try new things in order to enable the residents to live active and fulfilled lives.

“I would like to thank the residents, relatives and team members for supporting Ty Enfys and making every day a true pleasure. I look forward to the next stages of our journey together.”

Aneurin Brown, Hallmark managing director and responsible individual of the care home, said: “I am absolutely delighted! To have the team at Ty Enfys recognised for their amazing work by our regulator is a wonderful affirmation of what Hallmark is all about. Every resident is treated as an individual and the teams show professionalism, enthusiasm and compassion towards everyone.

“This is a true testament to the care and dedication given by the teams and how the wellbeing of our residents is always at the forefront of their mind. I could not be prouder of the whole team and how they continue to provide the very best relationship-centred care.”
