Graham Care Group opens Kent care home

The Graham Care Group has opened the doors of new Kent care home Whitstable House.

Whitstable House will provide long and short term residential and nursing care to people with various levels of complex needs.

The home has 100 care suites equipped with kitchenettes and living areas, which aim to help residents feel they have their own space and their own home.

Owner Ernie Graham said: “We are very happy to open the doors of Whitstable House to those who need care. This is the culmination of a number of years of hard work and collaboration with the local community and stakeholders. The home is a testament to the continuous support from those at Estuary View Medical Centre, the planning team at Canterbury City Council and George Wilson Developments.”

Manager Helen Graham added: “We are thrilled to have admitted our first resident on 22 January, who was particularly happy with the lovely views over the estuary. We are fully staffed and in the process of building a wider team to support our residents even more. The home is warm and welcoming, with large ensuite rooms, spacious communal lounges and quiet spaces for the residents to enjoy.”
