A first-time buyer has purchased Norton Lodge, a residential care home for the elderly in Runcorn, Cheshire, registered for up to 32 residents across 30 bedrooms.

The vendor is selling in order to pursue other ventures within the healthcare sector.

Childcare and education business broker Redwoods Dowling Kerr facilitated the sale.
