Care UK officially opens Cardiff care home
Care UK has officially opened its Llys Herbert residential and dementia care home in Cardiff.
Resident Maureen Ashfield, along with the Lord Mayor of Cardiff, Councillor Bablin Molik, cut the ribbon to officially open the new care home.
Maureen said: “It was an honour to cut the ribbon with the Lord Mayor and great to have a chat with her!”
Therisa Galazka, home manager, added: “Our grand launch party was a huge success and the perfect way to officially open Llys Herbert.
“Our neighbours have been so warm and welcoming, and we loved meeting so many local people during the event – we already feel like part of the community!
“We were delighted to be joined by our special guests and would like to extend a big thank you to Maureen and Councillor Bablin Molik for cutting the ribbon. It truly was a day to remember and we hope to welcome everyone again very soon.”
