Weavers House care home in Cookstown, Country Tyrone, has opened a refurbished coffee bar.

The Kathryn Homes care home redesigned the Our Life Coffee space to create a sense of freedom and instil a sense of adventure by bringing the outdoors indoors.

The coffee bar, which is open to residents and visitors, opened in time for Valentine’s day.

Gabriela Ciurea, home manager at Weavers House, said: “We wanted to provide our residents with the opportunity to have a wonderful time with their families. The coffee bar is now available for use on a daily basis, whether it’s for a quiet Sunday coffee or hosting private parties, birthdays, or Sunday dinners with loved ones. We truly believe that this newly revived coffee bar will enhance the overall experience for our residents and create lasting memories.”
