David Fielding, handyman at Forest Care’s Cedar Lodge Care Home in Surrey, has been named overall winner of Care Home Heroes 2023.

Ontex teamed up with Caring Times to reward those working in care homes who are always ready to go that extra mile and have made a real impact on their particular place of work.

The runner-up winners have been named as Vincent Doherty, facilities manager at The White House Nursing Home, Joy Clark, receptionist at Boutique Care Homes The Burlington Care Home, and Marcia Hughes, activities co-ordinator at Thorp House Nursing Home, Kingsley Healthcare.

The winners will be presented with their award and prize by TV personality Davina McCall at the Care Managers Show on Friday 30 June.
