Boutique Care Homes celebrates top food hygiene rating

Boutique Care Homes Chartwell House Care Home in Broadstairs has received a top (5 very good) food hygiene rating following a surprise inspection by Thanet District Council.

The inspection of the newly opened home on 3 February assessed: compliance with food hygiene and safety procedures; compliance with structural requirements; and compliance in management/control procedures.

Diane Collins, home manager of Chartwell House, who features in our February issue of Caring Times, said: “I am exceptionally proud of our dining team and the whole team at Chartwell House. To receive a 5 rating is a testament to their hard work and the quality of our standards.”

Curtis Moore, head chef at Chartwell House, added: “The whole team and I are passionate about food, we work tirelessly to create and serve dishes that are of the highest standards, making every meal time a joyous experience for every resident. Gaining this rating is a very proud moment and as a team we are delighted.”
