Social enterprise We Are Care secures seed funding

We Are Care, a social enterprise that aims to create better outcomes for care recipients through a fair healthcare staffing approach, has secured initial seed funding from private investors.
This investment will enable We Are Care to expand its service capabilities, delivering reliable carers at competitive rates to care providers across the UK, while maintaining its commitment to fair worker compensation.
Julian Humphreys, co-founder and director, said: “Unlike traditional agencies, we’ve proven that offering better wages and reward to carers, while simultaneously charging providers less, is not only possible, but creates better outcomes for everyone involved.”
The company’s model addresses the key challenges facing care providers today, including:
- Ensuring access to trusted, carefully-vetted staff who consistently deliver quality care
- Maintaining competitive staffing rates without compromising on service quality
- Improving continuity of care through reduced staff turnover
- Partnering with a socially-responsible staffing provider that enhances reputation
Humphreys adds: “This funding validates our approach to creating better care outcomes through ethical employment practices.
“Our partners are discovering that better pay leads directly to better care, with improved staff retention translating to enhanced continuity of care for people.”
