Skills for Care champions registered managers

Skills for Care is championing registered managers with its latest campaign this month.

The Championing Registered Managers campaign, which includes blogs and real life insights, will acknowledge the important role of registered managers, signpost to the wide range of support and resources which Skills for Care has available for registered managers and provide tailored information on key issues which registered managers are looking for support with right now.

Georgina Turner, director of engagement, said: “Registered managers really are at the heart of high-quality care.

“We know from our close connections across England with registered managers just how rewarding and complex their job can be, and that’s why we offer a wide range of support for registered managers across all elements of their role.

“We’re excited to launch this campaign focused on highlighting that vital role of registered managers and signposting to the support and information that we know many registered managers find incredibly useful in their roles.”

Skills for Care has a range of support available for registered managers, including local networks, a membership offer, regular webinars and the popular ‘The care exchange’ podcast.
