Serenity Healthcare has purchased Parkside House Care Home in Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan, which provides residential, dementia, and independent care for up to 35 residents.

The founding owners decided to sell in order to retire.

Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale.

Oliver McCarthy, associate director, care at Christie & Co, said: “The transactional care market in the Southwest and Wales was buoyant last year, and we’re seeing this continue in 2023, as buyer appetite remains high for a range of assets across the region.”

Parkside House Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
