Glasgow-based Morrison Community Care Group has announced plans to develop a luxury 70-bed care home in Leicestershire.

The home, which will include a cinema, hair salon, and champagne bar, will be Morrison Community Care Group‘s fourth care home in England. The company also has five properties in Scotland, with 11 further sites under development in the UK and Ireland.

The new purpose-built home will feature private balconies, celebration rooms, visitor cafes, and private dining rooms.

Morrison Community Care Group managing director Paul Sokhi said: “This is another step on the group’s journey to achieve our target of becoming the largest care home developer in the UK, to ease pressure on the NHS, and to provide quality, welcoming, sustainable care facilities for those that require them in our local communities and beyond.”
