RCB Healthcare Group acquires Kent care business

Kent-based care group, RCB Healthcare Group has acquired a care business which comprises The Priory Mews Care Home and Woodford House Care Home in Kent, marking the group’s largest acquisition to date.

The two purpose-built Good-rated homes are located on the same site in Dartford, Kent, offering a combined capacity for up to 177 residents, taking the group’s portfolio to 354 beds.

To purchase the business, RCB Healthcare Group’s owner Baljit Sanghera sourced funding through commercial finance firm Christie Finance.

Baljit Sanghera comments, “I am delighted to complete this acquisition which has taken my care portfolio to another level.”

Jimmy Johns, director at Christie Finance, commented: “It was a pleasure to work with Bal, RCB care, and his family to grow the business with this acquisition. Throughout this transaction, we were faced with high-level funding challenges both legal and regulatory, however we were able to find solutions and the successes of this transaction were hugely rewarding for my client and myself.”
