Places for People Living Plus and Lovell Later Living have formed a partnership to provide later-living specialist homes.

Working alongside local authorities and health colleagues, we’ll be creating healthy communities by combining quality homes aligned with care solutions for older people.”
Paula Broadbent, managing director for Lovell Later Living added: “The overarching purpose of this strategic partnership is to collaborate, driving an acceleration of new build appropriate, high-quality homes for older and vulnerable people, working with local authorities to shape places that support healthy ageing in healthy communities, bringing together the investment and resource from the public and private sector to create the right environments and help meet the urgent need for appropriate homes and thriving intergenerational communities.

Prior to the partnering agreement, the two companies delivered communities at Burchester Court in Grimsby and Nightingale Lodge in Romsey, offering independent living apartments for people aged over 55 with care and support needs. Work is also under way on two communities, Spinnaker View in Gosport and Wooldridge View in New Milton, due for completion next year. In addition, an extra care, independent living community in Norfolk is awaiting planning consent in Hunstanton.
