Nourish Care and Atlas eMAR increase integration
Care app provider Nourish Care and electronic medication management system Atlas eMAR have agreed to strengthen their integration capabilities.
The two firms have been partners since 2020, with Nourish customers getting easier access to Atlas eMAR data, by surfacing contextual information into Nourish, pulling current medication into reports and into the emergency information packs.
Atlas eMAR stated that its electronic medication management system for care homes improves safety, increases accountability and saves time with medicines management. The system has two-way integrations including a link with GP prescribing systems, pharmacy dispensing systems and with care management platforms such as Nourish Care.
This month Nourish introduced a ‘client profile sharing’ addition to the Atlas integration, which means when updating profiles of people supported in Nourish, the information will automatically synchronise in Atlas, reducing error risk and eliminating duplication of effort.
Nourish’s head of propositions and partnerships Steve Lawrence said: “At Nourish we work closely with our integration partners to identify new ways of improving the experience for our customers. By introducing the client profile sharing integration we hope to support our customers with driving efficiency and reducing error risk. The integration provides tangible benefits, significantly reducing the administrative burden and freeing up valuable time. We look forward to seeing the positive benefits the integration brings to our customers and the people they support.”
Sajid Ramsan, head of sales at Atlas eMAR added: “This collaboration provides further efficiencies for care homes in that now there is no need for double entry of resident details. For example, when there is a new resident admission, or if there is an update to the resident status, the information is automatically shared between Nourish and Atlas. This integration also makes adoption of our technologies easier especially when the care provider already has one of the technologies.”
Catherine Palmer, the registered manager at Henry Nihill House nursing home in Edgeware commented: “Enabling the Atlas client profile sharing integration was simple and easy. Now the client profile information we record in Nourish will automatically update in Atlas, which has improved productivity for my team and reduced error risk.”
