New manager at Whitstable care home

Kim Saint

Kim Saint has been appointed as the new manager at MHA Bradbury Grange, a residential care home in Whitstable, Kent, offering tailored residential and residential dementia care for 50 residents.

Saint has experience of working in social care and previously worked as a registered nurse and has managed care homes both as a home and area manager.

Saint said: “I am really enjoying my time here so far and have been welcomed really well by the staff and also my area manager. I was aware of MHA as I have worked with other home managers previously and have always been told it’s a great place to work.

“On only my second day the Archbishop of Canterbury visited which was a huge moment and something that I was really happy to be a part of. There was a great buzz around the home and as a newcomer it was great to see.

“Building staff morale and working with staff on how we can improve is the key to success for me and it’s something I believe contributes immensely towards a successful place of work. For me it’s just about maintaining the work my predecessor had put in place, but at the same time make some small changes and tweaks based on my own experience.

“The residents are great and just like the staff have welcomed me in the home in a very positive way.

“I want to make sure we all work together to improve and progress here at MHA Bradbury Grange. Moving forward I want to look into ways we can engage with the local community in our area and become a vital part of the community.”

MHA is a national charity with 88 specialist care homes and 69 retirement living schemes.
