New management team at Worsley care home
Tina Blake and Chris Critchley have been appointed registered manager and deputy manager respectively at New Care’s Bridgewater Manor in Worsley, Greater Manchester, which provides residential, dementia and 24-hour nursing care services.
Blake was a registered nurse for 25 years and is responsible for the operation of the home including all areas of compliance for the Care Quality Commission, the local authority and the clinical commissioning group.
Critchley is a registered nurse responsible for the management of the clinical team and the provision of care by ensuring effective supervision, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
Blake said: “I was brought up in Worsley and have always aspired to work in my local community. I contacted New Care on the off chance that they had a position and was thrilled when they confirmed that they did. The company is amazing; they support and truly care about the staff at all levels, and I am honoured to be part of the team.”
Critchley added: “I was attracted to New Care as the company provides an excellent induction programme to all new staff members, as well as great rewards and benefits. Bridgewater Manor is a purpose-built care facility that meets the needs of residents, which makes a huge difference.”

Bridgewater Manor is a purpose-built 71-bedroom care home featuring fully furnished bedrooms, each with a private en suite wet room, plus communal lounges and dining rooms. It also has a nail bar, hairdresser, landscaped gardens and outdoor terraces to the first floor.
