Lovett Care plans to go to tender in the next three months for a contractor for a 60-bed facility in Chelmsford, Essex.

The care provider has announced it has exchanged contracts on the latest addition to its growing portfolio.

Chief executive Keith Crockett said: “The past few years have seen Lovett Care grow from two to ten homes and we are looking forward to expanding our portfolio of homes across multiple regions, including in the South of England.

“This venture marks a significant milestone in our long-term strategy, aligning with our commitment to provide high quality care in desirable locations that support the aging population.”

The home, which is designed to meet growing demand for residential and dementia care in the area, has been designed by Harris Irwin.

Lovett Care recently announced the upcoming opening of their flagship home in Harrogate and has homes under construction in St Helens, Kent and South Manchester.
