Lovett Care has announced it will continue to pay all team members a minimum of the Real Living Wage of £12 per hour, regardless of age or role.

The commitment follows the government’s announcement that the Real Living Wage will increase by 10.1% in 2024 and that the National Minimum Wage will rise by 9.8%.

All team members at Lovett Care have been paid the Real Living Wage as a minimum for the past three years.

Chief executive of Lovett Care, Keith Crockett, said: “In our view,  our team members are our most valuable resource and looking after their wellbeing is a critical part of delivering a best-in-class service.

As part of this approach, our policy is to offer wage rates that are at or above the Real Living Wage for all our employees. We will therefore be raising our wage levels by 10.1% demonstrating our investment in people.

“We have a strong growth strategy in place and are committed to recruiting the best individuals to be part of that plan.”

Lovett Care has recently announced the upcoming opening of Fairfax Manor, their flagship home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire as well as homes under construction in St Helen’s, South Manchester and Kent.
