Kingsley joins National Activity Providers Association

Care provider Kingsley Healthcare has joined  the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) in order to enrich activities and enhance wellbeing in its home.

Activity and engagement charity NAPA supports care services to prioritise wellbeing and promote activity, arts and engagement. As a member, Kingsley will be able to access training and resources on a range of topics including reminiscence-based activities, activities for people living with dementia, life story and activity provision, community connections, intergenerational activity programme planning and setting up a dementia café.

Kingsley’s activities teams will also be able to network with a community of activity providers, sharing ideas and gaining insights to enhance their practice.

Kingsley Healthcare’s co-chief operating officer Debbie McGovern said: “At Kingsley, we are passionate about supporting residents to enjoy the best quality of life possible and joining NAPA shows our commitment to make each day in our care homes as interesting, stimulating and varied as possible.”

Group academy and learning manager Emma Croston added: “Joining NAPA will be hugely beneficial to the professional development of our activities and lifestyle teams. This will form part of our future induction and continuous learning and development process.”

NAPA communications manager Gianna Burns said: “We’re thrilled to have Kingsley Healthcare on board and look forward to supporting their journey in offering outstanding activity provision.”
