Kent nursing home sold to first-time buyers

First-time buyers the Lingam family have purchased Larchmere House Nursing Home in Frittenden, Kent, which is registered for up to 33 residents and rated Good by the Care quality Commission.

The home was previously owned by Steve and Lisa Wootton are retiring.

Steve Wootton said: “We are pleased to have now completed the sale to the Lingam family who are also another family business, and we are now looking forward to enjoying our retirement.”

Vino Lingam added: “We are delighted to have completed our purchase of Larchmere House and we are looking forward to continuing the reputation which Larchmere House has built up as a family business offering good-quality care.”

Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale. John Harrison, director, healthcare at Christie & Co commented: “The sale is one of a number of care homes we have recently completed in the Southeast, with strong interest continuing to be shown in the sector.”

Larchmere House Nursing Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
