Ideal Carehomes’ staff and residents at Brinnington Hall care home in Stockport are celebrating following their third Good CQC rating.

The care home was rated Good overall with an Outstanding in the Responsive category following an inspection in January.

Home manager, Karen Harrison, said: “I am so proud of everyone that has contributed to this wonderful report. Thank you to our dedicated team at Brinnington Hall for continuously providing the very best person-centred care, and to our lovely residents and their families for their support.”

One resident told inspectors: “It is always such a pleasant atmosphere around the home because the staff make it that way. I would recommend the home to anyone.”

Residents’ relatives agreed, adding they felt confident in sharing their views with staff members and management due to the open-door policy in place.

One relative commented: “I am sure I could speak with the registered manager if I had any problems. I am glad to say I have no issues with the care my family member is receiving.”

Team members all spoke highly of the positive work environment, demonstrating how committed they were to delivering the best care. One said: “I love it here. There are a good bunch of staff.”
