Home care company awarded Outstanding for second time

Home Instead Salford & Worsley has been awarded an overall Outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the second time.

Care professionals at the home care company were described as “exceptionally caring” and “compassionate” by clients and their families.

The CQC report found that “staff and managers had a culture of focusing on people’s social and emotional needs as well as supporting their physical healthcare.” It also reported that “Staff and managers spent time getting to know people’s background and history to enable them to individually tailor people’s support to enable people to participate in activities meaningful to them.”

Home Instead Salford & Worsley allocates care professionals to clients based on similar interests, allowing strong relationships to be built. A client said: “One good thing is the service never send any staff you have not seen before.”

Susan Robinson, owner of Home Instead Salford & Worsley, said: “When I established the company eight years ago, it was my deepest wish to give older people the chance to stay living at home if the time comes when they need care. It’s so heartwarming to know that my team has given older people in the community the chance to live the life they want at home.”
