HC-One has completed the almost £550,000 refurbishment and upgrade of a Merseyside care home.

Broadoak Manor in St Helens is the latest of 221 homes to benefit from HC-One’s £54.5 million refurbishment and upgrade programme.

Lianne Webb, HC-One’s Area Director, said: “We are committed to fostering an environment that really feels like home, and décor and facilities are an important part of this.

“We’re really excited that the plans for Broadoak Manor Care Home have now been safely completed. We look forward to families and friends visiting the home and seeing the end result.”

The upgrade of the 120-bed home included full decoration of the home’s entrance lobby, lounge hair salon, quiet rooms and corridors. The home’s dining rooms have also benefitted from new flooring, furniture, decoration and lighting, with a refreshing makeover given to WCs, shower rooms and bathrooms.

The works at Broadoak Manor began in January and were completed in June.
