Hartford Care donates £5,000 in Christmas charity initiative
Hartford Care has raised £5,000 for local charities through its Christmas charity initiative.
Each of the company’s 19 care homes and its head office in Basingstoke have been gifted £250 to donate to a local charity of their choice.
Kevin Shaw, chief executive of Hartford Care, said: “Our wonderful teams work hard throughout the year to fundraise for dozens of local causes and charities. We hope these additional Christmas donations will have a positive impact on families in the communities of which we are a part, helping those who need it most this festive season.”
Money from the Basingstoke head office was donated to The Camrose Centre, which provides an open-access service to homeless and vulnerably housed people in the community.
Hartford Care’s homes are located in Bristol, Berkshire (Burnham and Maidenhead), Devon (Sidmouth), Dorset (Poole), Hampshire (Aldershot, Barton-on-Sea, Four Marks, Hythe, Portsmouth, Winchester and Woodlands), Isle of Wight (Bembridge, Ryde and Shanklin), Oxfordshire (Witney) and Wiltshire (Downton and Swindon).
