Harrogate care home opens memory suite
Hampden House, owned by social care group HICA, has opened a memory suite to support those living with memory-related conditions including dementia.
The new facility at the Harrogate care home incorporates the latest research in memory care, and aims to support physical health and emotional and psychological wellbeing.
The Blenheim Memory Suite, which features eight en-suite rooms, offers day care as well as residential care. The home’s expansion follows its acquisition by HICA last year.
HICA Group chief executive Terry Peel said the Blenheim Memory Suite would “provide specialised memory care and ensure residents receive bespoke support tailored to their unique needs.”
“The new memory suite represents the HICA vision of compassionate, person-centred care and we are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our residents and their families,” he said.
