Healthcare Homes Group has appointed Karen Williams as home manager of Bedhampton Court Care Home in Havant, Hampshire, which provides residential, nursing, respite, palliative care, and care for younger adults with disabilities.

Williams has experience of the NHS and the private sector. She qualified as a nurse in 1984 and has worked both as a nurse and a manager and spent significant time in end-of-life care, working as a manager of a hospice and as a specialist nurse in the community. Williams is also a qualified chemotherapy nurse.

Williams is committed to staff development and said: “Teaching and supporting others to achieve their goals is important to me. It is great to see people grow in confidence and knowledge.”
